Treatments for arm and shoulder problems, arms or shoulder orthopedic issues.
Ulnar Neuritis is the compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow. The ulnar nerve is one of the three main nerves of the upper extremity.
The inflammation which is created by the nerve compression causes elbow pain, numbness on little finger side of the hand and continuous shoulder pain and cervical syndrome.
We rarely deal with the ulnar nerve disorder, which is not accompanied by the corresponding median nerve condition (see carpal tunnel syndrome)
Our experience has shown that the ulnar neuritis often co-exists with a neglected carpal tunnel syndrome
The therapy is entirely surgical and we use the modified technique of Bath (Royal United Hospital, Bath, U.K) which is faster, with small incisions, painless and with complete movement of the elbow on the same day.
